We have the opportunity to done the wedding of Namibians, Meyerine and Nico here on the West Coast in Velddrif with a vintage theme. This wedding was a fun filled occasion and more of a festival where people was celebrating the love and happiness of the couple joining together.
The tablecloths used was a stunning duff egg blue brocade and was the backdrop for our décor with birdcages, vintage tea cups, books, lace, laser cut table names. A rusted heart playfully decorated the napkins and the guest favours as you may have wished was "Droe wors for the men and a cute little jam jar with a stunning crochet flower for the ladies" Beautiful King Proteas in a dodder nest hide in a cream birdcage and a laser cut table name route guests to the tables. A smaller birdcage was the home of a vintage teacup with a floating candles. A cream lace runner was used on all the tables and it soften the vintage look that we have create. The gift table was a display of vintage suitcases on a wooden vintage sideboard and it fit in beautiful with the main table in a taffeta duff egg tablecloth and with silver, crystal and ceramic elements. The coffee roses complete the look of our vintage theme.
The sweetie tables was a world of "soettand lekkerte" displayed in crystal bowls. Silver and rusted cake stands was used for the wedding cupcakes and homemade sweets from Bloemfontein.
The surprise of the day was the performance of the musical group "DIE BROERS" Christo, Kobus and Nic Stevens. The guests was in awe and dance the night away with this super group of musicians that was entertaining with music from Cat Stevens to The train to Margate ...
