On Saturday morning the rain came down fiqoursly and i thought by myself that this must be a blessed wedding for this beautiful family.  Beautiful and stunning flower arrangements of Akito roses, dendrobium orchids, Umbelathums and carnations decorated the tablescapes and halls of the breath taking Crystal Lagoon Lodge with views onto Club Mykonos and the Langebaan Lagoon.  With the helpful management and staff we turn around the dining room into a breath taking reception hall fit for a King and Queen.  Fine dining was the order of the day and with beautiful cut glass, silver under plates, diamonds on the napkins, crystals dangling down from underneath the flower arrangements, laser cut perspex names for each guest, and the stunning menu's you only can feel loved by you hosts Bianca, Daniel and Debbie.  Nothing was spared to make this day extra special for Bianca and Daniel.  Pauline Schreuder Catering made yawdroppingly delicious food and was served by Paul's Caterers to the guests in fine dining attire.
The ceremony area outside on the deck with its breath taking views were beautifully decorated for the ceremony complete with a custom made chuppa by the groom and with the beaded crystals that catches the few rays of sunshine announces that this was the place to be and to linger thoughts to loved ones.  The white carpet was edge with ghost Tiffany chairs and decorated with gypshofilla balls on the aisle side to the chuppa.  On the sides of the chuppa was two beautiful plinths with cylinder vases with a stunning flower arrangement on each.  The chuppa were draped in soft organza, flower strings and crystals and to round it all off a perspex lectern for the minister.
Bianca was a beautiful bride and i still try to catch my breath since Saturday after seeing the bridal party happily on there way to the ceremony.  The flower girls with two soft and cuddly bridal teddies just made your heart melt.

Our best wishes to Bianca and Daniel on their marriage and may the years ahead be prosperous and full of love.

Heinrich & Pearl, Longacres Wedding & Conference Centre, Langebaan

The timeless turquoise blue was the main choice of colour for the beautiful couple Pearl and Heinrich who did get hitched at the Longacres Wedding and Conference Centre, Langebaan.  The wind didn't stopped them from having a beautiful wedding and despite the fact that the signing register landed in the pond the minister still give a beautiful sermon for all to take with them in their hearts.  The guests were treated with smack, crackling and yummy canapés during the cocktail hour by Muriel Lategan Caterers and Margaret and Leticia made the most beautiful blue cocktails to complimented the theme of the day.  The huge hall at Longacres easily fit the 180 guests and was beautiful decorated with all type of clear bottles in all shapes and sizes just with a simple grouping of single flowers.  We sprayed some of the bottles silver to bring in a element of bling and around the neck of some a elegant table number were displayed.   Silver candelabra bring the elegance to this wedding and against the crisp white backdrop a long main table where decorated in different single glass candlesticks and elegant glass vases.

Congratulations Pearl and Heinrich on a beautiful wedding and may you be blessed ahead with a prosperous life together.

West Coast Sports Awards 2012 - Western Cape Goverment

The WESTERN CAPE GOVERNMENT recently host the West Coast Sports Awards 2012 at the beautiful Longacres Wedding & Conference Centre, Langebaan.  It was a function to honour the Sportsmen and women here on the West coast.  It was a colourful event with the theme, the Olympic Flag.  All the tables were decorated to represent the circles on the flag.  The coordinating napkins create a splash of colour on a beautiful twirl tablecloth.  We used red, yellow and white gerbera's  with Lida Vases and alternative tables a 5arm silver candelabra and this create a simple but striking effect.  A troupe of the world famous KAAPSE KLOPSE entertain the guests on arrival and during the cocktail hour.  The atmosphere was exciting and festival and uniquely Capetonian.

We want to congratulate all the Sportsmen and women on receiving awards for there achievements during 2012.
