Elaine & Steve - SEA TRADER - Brittania Bay, St Helena Bay

Elaine and Steve are one of our International Bride and Grooms that choose the beautiful SEA TRADER in Brittania Bay to get hitched.  The award winning ABIA photographers Anton and Tania from A&T Photography captured this special occasion in pictures.  www.antonweddings.co.za

Elaine choose a colour palette of grey and a purple mauve and this was reflected in her décor with a embossed greyish tablecloth and old world vintage silver bowls and wine coolers for the flowers on the guest, main, gift and cake tables.  A giraffe vase with a beautiful beaded lampshade was repated on some of the tables. The bluish tiebacks on every second chair just tie the colour scheme together.

The flowers consisting of mauve roses, limonium, lisianthus, lavender and statice.  A beautiful combination that have complimented the guest favours.

CURRO LANGEBAAN FORMAL BALL - Longacres Function Venue - Langebaan

For 2013 CURRO Private School in Langebaan choose Longacres Function Venue in Longacres Country Estate for there Formal Ball.  It was a evening with glitz and glamour with a stately twist, decorated tables in gold with crystal glassware, silver cutlery and candelabra's.  The menu's

were displayed in a beautiful gold frames matching the table décor and was rounded off with a Perspex table number playfully potted in a small sjerry glass.  The flowers for this occasion was beautiful orchids from the growers Duckitt Orchids and was displayed in a small silver edge glass containers on a mirror.

Matthys Roets,  a very talented and famous South African musician was the entertainer of the night.

 

  

Michelle Cloete - BOESMANLAND FARM KITCHEN - Langebaan

Michelle choose BOESMANLAND FARM KITCHEN for its romantic setting on the beach where traditional food are served in Langebaan for the ceremony and reception.  Michelle was one of our out of town brides and we planned her whole wedding through the internet and with emails.  We met Michelle a few days before her wedding and was extremely surprised with her shy and loveable personality.  The sea theme was dark blue and cerise pink.  A colour theme made for a King and Queen with patches of silver  and this tell a story of love and devotion on a Mykonos backdrop and the cobalt blue waters of the Langebaan Lagoon.

Hannetjie & Gawie - LONGACRES FUNCTION VENUE - Langebaan

Another beautiful wedding for the team at Longacres when Hannetjie and Gawie get hitched there.  Rustic table décor combined with tin, twigs, bark and cork.  Colourful fynbos flower arrangements just combine the palette of champagne and pinks together.  Dessert roses in tall square vases on a bed of pebbles and pieces of bark add a richness to the theme.  Little table number trees just add a touch of elegance.  This was not a wedding but a true celebration with friends and family.

It was a "kuier troue" with a sheep on the spit just how Hannetjie and Gawie would like it to be.
