Vintage sheik in shades of pink, cream, glass, ceramic with rustic undertones and a hint of a pastel dove egg blue was the theme of Renier and Tanya's wedding at the beautiful Longacres Wedding & Conference Centre here in Langebaan on the West Coast. A memorable occasion it was when the bridal party arrives at the little cathedral dome in the middle of the Koi fishpond. The bride was welcomed by her 4 bridesmaids and groomsmen on the bridge to the ceremony. The minister leave all the guests with a wonderful message of love that has been joined together by God. The gesture from the minister to the guests to raise their hands with him to bless the couple with their marriage journey together was a very special moment.
The tables were beautifully decorated with a gold rose damask tablecloth with beautiful flower arrangements in roses, proteas and fynbos. Dessert rose playfully pop up from little silver and rustic bowls from a nest of dodder. Some tables displayed a stunning cream candelabra with silver and some tables more of the rustic elements. The main table was the centre point of attention and the focal point was the two beautiful glass domes with a vintage ribbon dangling down from the top. A few glitzy elements just round it all off beautifully. The outside cocktail and bar area was interesting with a area for guest dedication on canvas and a seating area with jam jars floating from the roof on silver chains. Rusted hearts with a dessert rose and a ribbon of lace playfully decorated the ceremony area and to round it all off a few rustic garden spike hearts edge with crystals. The rustic bicycle confetti holder was a beautiful focal point to.
The food and bread table of Muriel Lategan Catering was of outstanding quality and the beautiful desert table with lots of interesting deserts in little containers was delectable and mouth-watering delicious.
Our best wishes and blessings to Tanya and Renier with the marriage journey ahead.
